DAY BY DAY: YOUR ADVANCED OPEN WATER TRAINING JOURNEY
Experience the perfect balance of theory, practice, and exploration while learning to dive in Bali.
Your Advanced diving course in Amed is designed to balance learning and exploration. Here’s how your journey unfolds:
DAY 1
Kick off with the Deep Dive, where you’ll safely descend to 30 meters under expert supervision. This dive introduces you to planning and how pressure changes affect divers. Next, refine your navigation during the Underwater Navigation Dive, mastering compass use and natural orientation skills. In the afternoon, you’ll complete your first elective dive — often Peak Performance Buoyancy in Jemeluk Bay — to fine-tune control, trim, and breathing efficiency.
DAY 2
Your adventure continues in Tulamben, home to the world-famous USAT Liberty wreck. Here you can combine electives like Wreck Diving or Drift Diving in real conditions, exploring one of Bali’s most iconic underwater landmarks. Depending on your chosen electives, you might also enjoy a Night Dive to discover Bali’s reefs after sunset, or a Fish Identification Dive to better understand the marine life around you.
Certification
Once you’ve completed all five dives and your final review, you’ll officially become a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver in Bali — unlocking access to deeper sites, new adventures, and the next step in your scuba journey worldwide.

Recommend the Dive Culture diving centre which was recommended to me by a diving centre in a neighbouring town. I had two day’s of fun dives including the wreck of the USAF Liberty in Loïc’s safe hands. Thanks: I have enjoyed myself.

Very good and exciting👏 for me. Because, it's the 1st time I try to do scuba diving. Yogi was the best one to teach me how to do and made me felt comfortable. I no have any experience of scuba diving but he is really good 👍. Thanks Yogi now I can see something nice under water.

We spent 3 days diving with Dive Culture in Amed and had a great experience. The team was professional, very flexible, and made everything easy from start to finish. Amed is an incredible place to dive, but 3 days felt way too short to really see it all. Hope to be back soon with Dive Culture!
